Kim is a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities area of Tennessee. She attended Daniel Boone High School and after raising a family with husband Larry she enrolled at East Tennessee State University where she earned a Bachelors Degree with a Concentration in Construction Engineering Technology & Management. Kim’s construction career began with General Contracting where she gained 15 years of experience working with Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, Owners, and Government authorities in the construction of Automotive, Education, Financial, Healthcare, Office, Worship, Industry/Warehouse and Retail projects. Prior to Kim’s construction career she worked in the manufacturing industry in Accounting, Logistics, and Quality Control. Since joining the Interstate team in 2015 Kim has worked as a Construction Manager taking a project from the due diligence investigation through the successful completion and turnover to retail tenants on projects which range in size from single tenant to major multi-tenant retail developments.
